Maybe we don’t believe we can do anything about it. Maybe we think all we can do is laugh it off so we don’t go crazy with the realisation. But what if we can do something about it?

If you are committed to finding fulfilment in your entrepreneurial career, your own limiting self-beliefs will be the biggest obstacles on your journey.
Your limiting self-beliefs blind you to opportunities, convince you to make short-sighted decisions, keep you tethered to the past and fearful of leaving the present.
What would it look like if you didn’t have any of these limiting beliefs? What if everything in you was aligned toward your goals?
You’ll never be 100% there, and that’s not a bad thing. There’ll always be something to improve in yourself. But imagine if you got your inner-conflict from an 80 down to a 20. Now, it’s really important to work on fixing yourself – you need to do that before even thinking about making a wild and demanding change in your life. Breaking out of your lifestyle prison is not going to be easy. If you want a more fulfilling life, you’ll need to become stronger and equip yourself with the confidence to push through when things get really tough.
You’ve seen enough inspirational quotes. I’m going to give you something you can actually use. 20 simple things you can start doing today:
- Realise you’re limited. – Nothing can happen before you acknowledge the truth of the situation.
Face your insecurities. – You can’t change that which you refuse to look at.
Look at how far you’ve come. – Begin dismantling your insecurities by noticing how you’ve overcome them in the past.
Listen to what people tell you. – People usually mean it when they compliment you. Take stock of what they say.
Map out clear goals for the next 10 years. – You need to know exactly why you’re doing all this self-work!
Let the past go. – Limiting beliefs tend to keep people trapped by the past. You need to put it behind you.
Write a commitment manifesto. – Make it official… something you can re-read on days when you’re feeling overwhelmed.
Keep a progress log. – What gets measured gets managed.
Note your struggles and plan to overcome them. – Define obstacles on paper or they’re not going to get solved.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. – We are surrounded, every day, by a crazy asset… our network. Don’t waste it.
Take some time for you. – Your life can’t be 100% grit. Carve out time to look after yourself.
Finally start that thing you’ve been wanting to start. – One of the best things you can do for your soul is to do what it’s been telling you to do for the past decade!
Break a boundary. – Your boundaries are imaginary. Once you break one, you realise they can all be broken.
Plan your perfect day. – Envision your ideal day vividly and in fine detail.
Make an uncomfortable change in your personal life. – When you’re stuck in a rut, any change whatsoever can be a spark for bigger change.
Make things right. – Don’t let bad karma hang over your head. It matters.
Record something. – Putting your thoughts out there is the best way to clarify them.
Ask someone for their opinion. – Getting another person’s perspective is invaluable.
Give someone your opinion. – Speaking your honest truth to someone else can tell you more than weeks of introspection.
Go one step further. – By the end of this journey, you’ll know exactly how to take a step beyond your current “normal” and expand your comfort zone.
